Apple Tree Arts
Special Announcement:
Dear faculty, board, families and friends,
If you know of any students or any families who are not able to cover the costs of lessons or programs, please let us know. We are creating a scholarship fund for these students that will be launched in this week's silent auction. You can email confidential recommendations to lisa.s@appletreearts.org.
Thank you!
Donna Blanchard, Executive Director, Apple Tree Arts
Apple Tree Arts’ (ATA) in Grafton is launching a 2-week online auction on Friday, April 10.
“Curtains Up, Act 2: Bid for Community Voices”, is an opportunity for communities to support Apple Tree Arts’, area businesses, and individuals/families in need.
Restaurants, grocery stores, florists and bookstores open for pick-up and delivery have donated gift certificates. There will also be a "buy it now" button for businesses, individuals and families to donate money toward meals delivered to elderly folks or families who have been laid off or are facing financial hardship. When those donations come in, they will be directed to restaurants participating in the auction who will prepare/deliver donated meals.
A scholarship "buy it now button" will be an additional option, giving ATA an opportunity to ensure that students do not miss lessons or programs due to financial challenges. These funds will also enable us to offer online opportunities to families referred to us by schools and social service organizations.
Apple Tree Arts’ provides high-quality educational music and theatre arts programs to communities in central MA and northern RI.
The Apple Tree Arts’ family thanks you in advance for your support. Donations will be allocated to program, scholarship and operational needs. While asking for funds to keep us going, we recognize the importance of supporting our communities and small businesses.

B2B Smart Source
Do you have a supply chain strategy to keep your company safe in the coming months?
Let us eliminate the stress in your life to search for these key items. We’re recommending every company to review their cleaning product needs and develop a 3-month strategy. Then in 2 months review this strategy and create another 3-month plan. Inventory on most cleaning products has been drained from the supply channel. Building inventory is happening and some items will not be seen for 2-3 months. We can help you create a strategy to supply your critical cleaning product needs including Hand Sanitizer, Nitrile Gloves, Paper Towels, Toilet Tissue and more.

Blackstone Valley EdHub
?Go Fund Me COVID-19 Medical Face Shield Project
Please help by donating to support this 3D printing project being lead by several Technical High Schools throughout the Northeast. The need for medical shields to protect our front line heroes are in high demand. In order to meet the demand, funds are needed to purchase supplies. The team has been flooded by support across Massachusetts and New York to print face shields and demand is increasing. All donations are appreciated. Stay safe everyone!
The four 3D printers at the Blackstone Valley Education Hub, or the Ed Hub, in Whitinsville are “running day and night,” said Jeannie Hebert, president and CEO of the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The Ed Hub’s efforts, spearheaded by Hebert and Mark Lyons of Advanced Educational Technologies Labs have resulted in the production and distribution of about 500 face shields to area hospitals and health care facilities, which are very much in need of personal protective equipment (PPE) while combating the coronavirus pandemic.
“I talked to a doctor and showed her the design,” Lyons said. “She thanked me for saving her life. That’s how important these things are.”

G9 Financial
As you have probably heard, the IRS and the Treasury Department have extended the tax filing deadline to July 15th due to COVID-19.
?You can find the official IRS notice regarding the extension here.
A couple key highlights to be aware of:
· They have moved the deadline to file and pay. If you owe, you don’t need to pay until July 15th . There will be no penalties or interest during this 3-month time frame.
· If you have a refund coming, file now.
· IRA’s and SEP IRA’s – You also have the ability to fund an IRA, Roth IRA or SEP IRA until July 15th for 2019.
· State filing deadline - MA has extended their Filing Deadline. Many of you live in other states. Make sure to check with your tax preparer to see if your state’s deadline has been extended.
· The IRS will not automatically delay automatic payments that taxpayers already set up for April 15. But taxpayers can take steps to cancel them. Filers who authorized electronic funds withdrawals by the IRS can call 888-353-4537, although they must do so before 11:59 p.m. ET two business days before their scheduled withdrawals.
· Taxpayers who use IRS Direct Pay or the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) can also cancel payments, but they must do so two days before the payment date. And filers who scheduled automatic credit or debit card payments should contact their card companies.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites
Due to the recent orders given by Governor Charlie Baker, we are only allowed to lodge essential businesses. These would be construction workers, hospital workers, nurses, doctors, truckers. There may be other industries that would be essential, but for the most part if there is a leisure traveler, meaning one who is wanting to stay at the hotel like a vacation or a night away, we will not be able to accept that reservation at this time. We will update you as time goes on.
Thoughts and prayers to everyone on the front lines and for everyone that has been affected by this virus. We will make it through together and if there is anything that we can do to help, please contact me. Stay safe.

Orange Salon
"Due to the Covid 19 pandemic we will be closed until Tuesday May 5.
All appointments before then are cancelled and we urge you to book online to ensure that you have an appointment during what will be a busy time. We are sending out this message to contact as many people as possible while individual calls will take some time.
For the duration we strongly caution you not to color your own hair. The chance of it all going horribly wrong is high. We will be posting in social posts and on our website where you can purchase Oribe and R&Co products and use our salon link and code to have products delivered to your house. Both of these manufacturers make a lovely temporary root touch-up spray that washes out and will not alter your natural color.
We hope you are safe and just like you, we want to be back at the salon and get your hair done as soon as possible.
