The BVCC wants to recognize the generosity and support of one our long time members.
Bill Fredericks, of Allcare Medical Supply in Millbury, not only declared his support of the BVCC during these difficult times by paying his membership dues in full, he also paid for two other members businesses who are experiencing financial difficulties and were unable to do so.

Bill, you are a kind, selfless individual who cares for others and the community. We salute you! We hope others will look at your example and pay it forward.
We want to personally thank Fidelity Bank for their generous donation of $1,000.00 to the BV Ed Hub to help us sustain our COVID-19 Face Shield project. We have been able to distribute over 10,000 shields to date thanks to our generous donors. We are helping businesses prepare to meet the safety requirements for re-opening by taking orders to supply face shields to them at no cost.

OUR FAVORITE ZOO NEEDS OUR HELP!
Please join us Saturday, May 23rd from 9A-7P as the Friends of Southwick's Zoo all come together to help support our favorite local zoo, Southwick's Zoo, More than a Zoo!

Our 10-hour ZOOmathon will feature behind the scenes videos of our favorite animals and zoo operations (including feeding time), special (celebrity) guests, local musical guests as well as great stories of our favorite zoo from zookeepers and caring members of our community. You won't want to miss it!

As we all know, our favorite zoo is temporarily closed and the 2020 season opening has been delayed due to the current pandemic. However, their dedicated animal care team is still there working tirelessly to provide daily expert care for the over 850 animals at Southwick’s.

Like many businesses and organizations, COVID-19 has had a drastic impact on the zoo. The delay in their opening has resulted in a loss of the income they truly rely on to operate.
