Maura Healey has been a hard-working AG for the Commonwealth. The oldest of five children raised in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, Maura is a true New Englander who fights for the rights of us all. She has a stellar record as a tough law maker and led the first state challenge to the Defense of Marriage Act, stood up to banks that took advantage of Massachusetts homeowners, protected student borrowers and homeowners from predatory lenders, sued Exxon Mobil for lying about climate change, and held Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family accountable for their role in the opioid epidemic.
