Whitinsville, MA: Please join us for the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce’s (BVCC) third in our Forum Series, focusing on Employment. We are all facing employment issues, be it employer or employee, all amplified during the pandemic. As we transition to the “new normal” how do we find the right employees to keep our business running smoothly? The April topic focuses on virtual and real time techniques and best practices in finding jobs, your future employees, resources for placement, hard hit industry specific concerns and opportunities for workforce training.
This virtual event will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 9am – 10am, via ZOOM.
Panelists include: Jeff Turgeon, Executive Director of the MassHire Central Region Workforce Board, an advisor and expert in the public workforce system. Jeff’s colleagues, Jibrael Younis, Business Services Manager for the MassHire Central Career Center, connecting resources to businesses and potential employees and Sandra Foley, Rapid Response Coordinator for the MassHire Department of Career Services and Biz Works. Also joining us is Kevin Kuros, former State Representative and current Central MA Regional Director at MOBD. Kevin is our life line in connecting Business and Economic Development to state resources and assistance.
The cost is $10 for BVCC Members and $15 for non-BVCC Members.
