UPTON � In accordance with state and federal regulations, Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School keeps student transcripts (a record of student grades) for 60 years. Student records, including Special Education files, are destroyed seven years after the student leaves the school.

The system is notifying members of the Classes of 2005 and earlier that all student records (any information not contained in the transcript) shall be destroyed on August 14, 2012. If a Valley Tech alumnus wishes to receive copies of these records, he or she should send a written request indicating year of graduation and name while in school to Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, 65 Pleasant Street, Upton, MA, 01568 to the Attention of Ms. Anne Smith.
