BLACKSTONE VALLEY, MA – From February 1st thru February 28th, the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Success Network Community Support Committee will be holding their 2nd Annual New Mother Collection Drive. Collection bins will be placed throughout the Blackstone Valley for pick up.

Millbury Federal Credit Union branches, Homefield Credit Union branches, UniBank’s Blackstone Valley (Blackstone, Douglas, Grafton, Whitinsville Main Office, Whitinsville Plaza, Sutton North, Upton and Uxbridge) branches, the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce (670 Linwood Ave. Suite 5, Whitinsville) and the Whitin Community Center are the locations in which you will be able to find collection bins for any donated items. All donations will be picked up and delivered to local food pantries and non-profit community agencies serving new mothers in the Blackstone Valley.

Some of the items that would be helpful for this New Mother Collection Drive would be baby formula, diapers and wipes, new clothes (Size Newborn – 4T), baby equipment, gift cards, handmade items, and we can’t forget items to pamper Mom as well.

Help make a difference in the lives of local new mothers and their precious little ones. Not only is it important to make sure that these mothers obtain the essential items that they need, but they should also be aware of all of the resources that are available to them.   It is crucial that we let them know how incredibly supported they are in their most important role yet – their role as a Mom.

Please contact us at administrator@blackstonevalley.org or call 508.234.9090 if you have an item not listed to donate.
